Steve Percy received a B.S. in Kinesiology from SUNY at Cortland and his M.S. in Sports Medicine/ Athletic Training from Indiana University. He completed N.A.T.A curriculum programs at both schools receiving his NATA certification in 1980. During his eight-year tenure at the San Diego Sports Medicine Center, 1980-88, he performed clinical rehabilitation for thousands of San Diegans and elite athletes from all over the world.

In 1995 he founded the Paragon Club - an exclusive sports medicine health and fitness training facility, and is the creator of Personal Athletic Training Systems™ - a trainer education and consulting company teaching the integration of sports medicine rehabilitation and life fitness, as well as personal training business development. 

Steve’s life’s ambition as an educator and athletic trainer is to integrate the science of Sports Medicine Rehabilitation and Movement Education into the profession of Personal Training. His unique philosophical and systematic approach empowers trainers to use their minds and hands to teach and heal through movement education and exercise, while encouraging growth and development of the spirit. 

Personal Athletic Training Systems™ provides the necessary fundamental education for understanding the 3-dimensional function of the musculoskeletal system, its evaluation and assessment, as well as the scientific theories and principals that guide post-rehabilitative exercise, application progressions and manual therapeutic techniques. He has been published, and now consults and lectures internationally on the subject preaching:
